PPI recently held an internal hardware auction, which not only delighted employees but also raised a remarkable €10,000. Over 100 laptops and smartphones that were no longer in active use found new owners, giving old technology a second chance. What's more, all proceeds were donated to Malizia – Ocean Challenge gGmbH, an organisation dedicated to improving the health of the oceans.
Reusing old technology is not only an environmentally friendly decision, but also opens up new opportunities for social engagement. One example of this is the recent success of our internal hardware auction.

Malizia – Ocean Challenge gGmbH
Malizia – Ocean Challenge gGmbH is an organisation that promotes an innovative education and sustainability programme. Its goal is to raise children's awareness of environmental issues and show them how important their commitment to protecting the oceans is. Educational programmes of this kind are crucial for raising awareness of environmental protection and inspiring future generations to actively contribute to improving the environment. This collaboration between companies and educational initiatives is an excellent example of the synergistic effects that can result from social engagement.
Sustainability is significant to us at PPI. We can now also demonstrate this externally with the EcoVadis seal.
