If financial institutions want to offer their customers communication via the EBICS protocol, they can simply purchase this function. With TRAVIC-EBICS-as-a-Service, PPI FS takes over the operation and maintenance of the associated applications as well as the initial operational configuration in close coordination with the ordering party bank. The latter receives direct access to the specialist banking and customer-related administrative functions. The technical operational configuration is carried out as part of the software-as-a-service offering of PPI FS – naturally using the latest version of the protocol, EBICS 3.0. To ensure the highest level of compatibility in domestic and cross-border-payments, EBICS versions 2.4 and 2.5 are also supported.
Depending on the performance class, the offer includes a bank server for EBICS, a corporate customer portal for multi-banking connection with EBICS communication as well as a system for push messages and EBICS real-time notifications. Furthermore, a mobile banking app is available for iPhone and Android smartphones. Also included is a system for bilateral transfer of order files, master data, archive data and provision files to the core bank processing of the respective financial institution.
